Welcome to Sootra Store. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of sootrastore.com and any purchase you make from us. By browsing this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree with them, please don't use the site.

Sootra Store is an Indian print-on-demand apparel brand operating from Delhi, India. In these Terms, “we”, “us” and “Sootra” mean Sootra Store; “you” means the person using the site or placing an order.

1. Using this site

You must be at least 18 years old, or using the site under the supervision of a parent or guardian, to place an order.

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of any applicable Indian law
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its servers, or any customer data
  • Copy, scrape, republish or resell our designs, product images, descriptions or site content
  • Place orders using false, stolen or someone else's payment or contact details
  • Interfere with the site's operation, or introduce malicious code

We may suspend or refuse service to anyone who breaches these Terms.

2. Products, colours and sizing

All our garments are printed to order. Because of that, please note:

  • Colours vary slightly between screens. The shade you see on your phone or laptop may differ a little from the printed garment. We photograph honestly, but we can't guarantee an exact match.
  • Print placement has a small tolerance. A variation of up to roughly half an inch in print position is normal in print-on-demand production and is not treated as a defect.
  • Measurements are approximate. Size charts are given in inches and may vary by up to an inch. Please measure a garment you already own and compare before ordering.
  • Fabric and blanks may change. We reserve the right to change garment suppliers or blank stock where quality is equivalent or better.

3. Pricing and payment

  • All prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise on the product page.
  • Prices, offers and discount codes can change at any time without notice. The price that applies is the one displayed at the moment you complete checkout.
  • We accept UPI, credit and debit cards, net banking and wallets through Razorpay, and Cash on Delivery on serviceable pin codes.
  • We do not store your card, UPI or banking details. Payments are handled entirely by our payment gateway on their secure infrastructure.
  • “Compare at” prices shown alongside a product are our own reference list price, not a claim about any other seller's price.

Pricing errors. If a product is listed at an obviously incorrect price because of a typing or system error, we are not obliged to fulfil the order at that price. We'll contact you, offer you the correct price, and refund you in full if you'd rather cancel.

4. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. The confirmation email we send after checkout acknowledges that we've received it — it does not by itself mean we've accepted it. A contract between us is formed only when we dispatch your order.

We may decline or cancel an order, in whole or in part, where:

  • The item can't be produced, or the design has a quality fault
  • There was an error in the price or product description
  • The delivery address is incomplete, unserviceable, or can't be verified
  • We reasonably suspect fraud, resale, or abuse of a discount or return policy
  • The order fails our COD verification checks, or previous COD orders to that address or number were refused

If we cancel an order you've already paid for, you get a full refund with no deduction.

5. Cancellation, returns and shipping

Cancellations, returns, exchanges and refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Delivery timelines, tracking and failed deliveries are governed by our Shipping Policy. Both form part of these Terms.

In short: orders can be cancelled free within 12 hours of placing them if printing hasn't started, and returns can be raised within 5 days of delivery.

6. Intellectual property

All designs, artwork, slogans, graphics, photographs, product descriptions, the Sootra name and the Sootra logo are owned by Sootra Store or used under licence, and are protected under Indian copyright and trademark law.

You may not reproduce, print, resell, or create derivative works from our designs, or use our brand assets, without our written permission. Buying a garment gives you ownership of that garment — not of the design printed on it.

If you believe any content on our site infringes your intellectual property, write to support@sootrastore.com with details and we will investigate promptly and remove infringing material where the claim is substantiated.

7. Custom and personalised orders

Where you supply text, names, photographs or artwork for a custom or personalised product, you confirm that:

  • You own the rights to that content, or have permission to use it
  • It does not infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity rights
  • It is not obscene, hateful, defamatory, or unlawful under Indian law

You agree to indemnify Sootra Store against any claim arising from content you supply.

We reserve the right to refuse any custom order we consider offensive, infringing or unlawful, at our sole discretion, and to refund it in full instead of printing it.

You are responsible for the accuracy of what you submit — spelling, names and dates included. We print exactly what you approve, and custom items are non-returnable unless they arrive damaged, defective, or different from what you approved.

8. User content and reviews

If you post a review, photograph or comment on our site or tag us on social media, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display that content for marketing purposes, with credit where practical. You can ask us to stop using your content at any time by emailing us.

We may remove content that is abusive, misleading, unlawful, or unrelated to the product.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including loss of profit, opportunity, or the fact that an item did not arrive in time for a specific occasion.
  • We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, including courier failures, strikes, natural events, network or payment gateway outages, or government restrictions.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or any other right that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Third-party services

Our store runs on Shopify, takes payments through Razorpay, and fulfils orders through third-party printing and courier partners. Their services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We choose our partners carefully, but we're not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.

11. Privacy

How we collect and use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page, and the “Last updated” date above tells you when it changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms. The Terms that apply to your order are the ones in force on the date you placed it.

13. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or your use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Delhi, India.

Before starting any formal proceedings, we'd ask you to contact us first — almost everything can be sorted out with an email.
